On November 6, GAC’s pure electric sedan Aion RT was launched, available in five versions. Delivery follows immediately after launch. The official maximum sailing range is 650 km.

The Aion RT officially adopts the design concept of “Velociraptor” with a drag coefficient of 0.208 Cd.
It is offered in seven exterior paint finishes: purple, beige, black, white, silver, gray and red. The body size is 4865/1875/1520 mm and the wheelbase is 2775 mm.

In terms of intelligent driving, the Aion RT 520 LiDAR and 650 LiDAR trims are equipped with 27 sensors, including a 126-line variable focus LiDAR, combined with an NVIDIA Orin-X chip to achieve L2++ driver assistance capabilities, to support from map-free navigation, remote parking, memory parking, emergency lane monitoring, blind spot monitoring, door opening alert, rear cross traffic alert, rear collision alert and hands-off detection on the steering wheel, just to name a few. to name a few.
The Aion RT 520 Zhihao and 650 Zhihao versions are equipped with one millimeter wave radar and five cameras, which provide an adaptive cruise system, lane change assistance, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning and lane departure prevention realize the lane.
Built on GAC’s pure electric AEP 3.0 platform, the Aion RT uses 400V silicon carbide technology and offers two power options. The 520 Zhixiang, 520 Zhihao and 520 LiDAR versions are powered by a front electric motor with a maximum power of 150 kW and a maximum torque of 240 Nm, coupled with a 55.1 kWh battery pack, giving a driving range of 520 km. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 7.5 seconds and the total energy consumption is 11.7 kWh/100 km.

The Aion RT 650 Zhihao and 650 LiDAR versions are powered by a 165 kW/240 Nm electric motor, coupled to a 68.1 kWh battery pack, giving a driving range of 650 km. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 7.7 seconds and the total energy consumption is 11.9 kWh/100 km.
With fast charging at 3C, it takes 18 minutes to charge the battery from 30% to 80%. Furthermore, the 520 km trims can be charged for 10 minutes to replenish 160 km and the 650 km trims can be charged for 10 minutes to replenish 200 km.
The interior is minimalist and offers the color options beige/black, brown/black and pure black. The entire range is equipped as standard with a 14.6-inch central control screen and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel. The center console features air conditioning vents and wireless charging panels.
The vehicle control system uses GAC’s latest ADiGO (intelligent and interconnected driving) ecosystem, consisting of the ADiGO autopilot system and the ADiGO IoT system. The ADiGO SENSE AI large model, AI intelligent voice control and Apple CarPlay/Huawei HiCar4.0/Carlink are available.
The front seats can be laid completely flat and connect to the rear seats to form a ‘big bed’. The entire series is equipped with seat ventilation and heating. At the same time, the roof has a split design.
