The clock has not yet gone all the way for the opening of the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speedbut the organizers are already looking ahead to next year.
Goodwood announced on Thursday that the 2025 Festival of Speed will take place from July 10 to 13 next year, while the 2025 Goodwood revival is scheduled for September 12-14, 2025. This moves the Opwekking back one weekend compared to this year, so the schedule is comparable to that of two years ago.

The annual Festival of Speed brings together notable racing and performance road cars, as well as personalities, from different eras, with cars completing timed runs on a hillclimb course on the Goodwood estate. Organizers have not announced further details for 2025, but this year the brand presented will be MG, Red Bull Racing will celebrate its 20th anniversary and the theme “Horseless to Hybrid — Revolutions in Power” will celebrate powertrain development.
The Goodwood Revival features vintage race cars raced in various classes on an on-site road circuit that was originally used for professional racing from 1948 to 1966. Competitors and attendees typically dress in period vintage clothing for maximum authenticity.

This year is the Goodwood Revival will run on sustainable fuel in all race cars to reduce emissions, following a 2023 trial. The fuel must contain a minimum of 70% ‘sustainable components’, in line with relevant FIA requirements, organizers said in November 2023, adding that the sustainable fuel does not modifications to the cars required.
Tickets for the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025 and 2025 Goodwood Revival will go on sale later this year. The 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed will run from 11-14 July, and the 2024 Goodwood Revival is scheduled for 6-8 September.
