Ford has opened the doors to a new Vehicle Personalization Center (VPC) in Thailand, which will equip vehicles bound for Australian shores with factory accessories as they roll off the production line.

The Ford Vehicle Personalization Center is operated in partnership with Ford Australia and RMA Automotive and is located near the port for vehicles produced in Thailand and bound for Australia. The site is primarily aimed at equipping new Ranger models with the same genuine and licensed Ford accessories previously only available from dealers. This should help reduce wait times for Australia’s best-selling new vehicle.

Four accessories will initially be offered through the VPC; two different stylish awnings, a commercial awning and a manual roller shutter. The three canopies work on all Ranger crew cab models except the Platinum and Raptor. All accessories are covered by the company’s five-year unlimited mileage warranty and are typically installed within two days after a vehicle leaves the factory.
