Storage solutions and modular seating provide flexibility for different needs. The folding rear seat creates a flat cargo area, and the 64-inch panoramic sunroof enhances natural light and visibility. Rear features such as a fold-out tailgate, integrated sockets (6.6 kW) and hooks further support outdoor use.
Safety and driving assistance
The Traveler has driving assistance level 2.5 and offers more than ten functions, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and autonomous parking. These systems provide extra support during daily commutes and longer journeys.
Behind the wheel
When driving the Jetour Traveler in urban environments, the balanced performance and comfort are optimal. Chery’s hybrid powertrain powers the SUV and provides smooth transitions between electric and combustion modes. The system prioritizes electric propulsion for efficiency and quiet operation in the city, while seamlessly integrating the engine at speeds above 40 km/h to achieve maximum system efficiency.
Our test car has the 2.0TD engine developed in-house by Chery. This engine generates 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission (8AT). This powertrain consumes 8.83 l/100 km.
On highways, the Traveler maintains a steady composure, with the suspension tuned to absorb small road imperfections while providing firm grip when cornering. The responsive steering improves maneuverability and inspires confidence, even in tight urban spaces. Off the beaten track, the vehicle’s ground clearance, reinforced handles and intuitive off-road displays come into play, allowing drivers to tackle rough terrain with ease.
Off-road, the Traveler shows impressive traction, aided by the intelligent XWD all-wheel drive, which intelligently adapts to road conditions.
Pronunciation
The Jetour Traveler is an interesting car because Jetour offers many customizable parts, making it a ‘Range Rover’ for the average Joe (as seen in the photos above). This makes it more fun and unique for car enthusiasts with budget problems. The Jetour Traveler combines rugged design, practical features and versatile performance in a competitively priced package. The interior is thoughtfully designed and the intelligent powertrain options support city commuting and light off-road use. While not a hardcore off-roader, it effectively balances capability and style, making it suitable for everyday use and occasional adventures.
