The 33 Stradale shares a lot in common with the MC20 supercar from fellow Stellantis brand Maserati, including the carbon fiber chassis and 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Alfa Romeo started working on the car late last decade, when it planned to launch it with a different design as the 8C successor.

The Alfa Romeo engine does power of 620 hpwhich corresponds to the power of the Maserati engine. Drive is provided exclusively to the rear wheels via an electronic limited-slip differential, and Alfa Romeo has claimed 0-62mph in under three seconds and a top speed of 205mph.
Alfa Romeo has also made a promise electric powertrain for the 33 Stradale. When unveiled last year, Alfa Romeo said the electric powertrain would deliver 750 horsepower. However, the automaker did not say whether any of the 33 buyers opted for it. Maserati is also planning an electric version of the MC20.
