To strengthen customer confidence, Stellantis has rolled out the WePledge program to ensure owners of vehicles in its portfolio receive reliable customer service throughout the warranty period.

As the name suggests, this is a commitment from Stellantis aimed at improving the ownership experience across its portfolio of brands in South Africa. This applies to Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Abarth, Jeep, Peugeot, Citroën and Opel, specifically offering reliable customer service and extra peace of mind throughout the warranty period. Stellantis adds that it is designed to also go beyond the standard 5-year/100,000km manufacturer’s warranty by introducing three key commitments aimed at ensuring customers remain mobile and safe even while the vehicle is at a standstill.
The first promise is a mobility guarantee: if a vehicle is idle at a Stellantis dealer for more than 48 hours due to parts or diagnostic delays, Stellantis will provide a replacement or rental vehicle to keep the customer on the road. The second aspect focuses on damage repair. If a vehicle requires extensive repairs in a Stellantis approved workshop and parts or technical assistance will take longer than 30 days, Stellantis guarantees a mobility solution. Any vehicle repaired under these conditions will also receive a quality control certificate to ensure it meets Stellantis standards.

The final part of WePledge offers improved roadside safety. In the event of a breakdown, Stellantis will send a safety officer to accompany the roadside assistance team, providing an extra layer of safety and security.
